COURSE OUTLINE:
You will learn to fully control your flash to achieve studio quality photos.

• The fundamental theory of "Famed 5" to learn how to induce lights into a photo shoot
• Understand each component of the "Famed 5" and how they relate to each other
• Using the TTL mode of your hot-shoe Flash
• How TTL mode works and the advantages of this mode
• The fool-proof settings on your camera and on the flash for TTL mode
• How to get uniform soft light in any location, regardless of location brightness
• How to optimize your Flash to product soft light
• How to use the camera's Aperture to control the Subject Layer's exposure
• How to use the camera's Shutter Speed to control the Background Layer and ambient light exposure
• How to effectively bounce your TTL flash to achieve the desired lighting coverage effects
• How to use your hot-shoe flashes as Remote flash, getting reulsts as good as expensive studio lights
• Understanding when to use TTL on-camera flash and when to use Remote Flash
• Understanding the "888" rule to get correct flash exposure and spot-on reulsts when using Remote Flashes

• Learn how to shoot in a full manual mode flash & also manual mode camera settings
• Learn how to use modifiers like Direct Studio Umbrellas, Reverse Studio Umbrellas & Color Gels in the practical sessions









 

  
   Class Details:

• Full-day class from 10am to 5pm

• Meals are excluded.  You can have your own lunch at the restaurants nearby the academy

• Course is divided into 2 sections throughout both day: Theory Session and Practical Session

• We maintain a low student-to-trainer ratio allowing for better learning & shooting opportunities & experimentation with various camera settings

• Participants will receive 2 years of E-Learning access to contents of this course, these include videos, cheat-sheets and also summary notes, which you can watch or download/print at your own convenience

• There is a minimum number of 2 participants for this course
