Classroom Session:
This course’s focus is on how to take stunning & impactful aerial videos & how to pilot drones effectively & safely.

• Introduction to Aerial Videography: The evolution of Aerial videography, emphasizing on the current tech in the market now.
• Drone Specifications: Introduction to the various Drones at various price points, and what specifications to look out for if you wish to achieve a certain look.
• Accessories: The various accessories available to the different makes of Drones.
• Legal: The legal issues surrounding flying a Drone.
• Camera Settings: Image format, Color & Exposure
• Camera Settings: Frame Rates, White Balance & HDR
• Flying your drone: Launching & Landing
• Flying your drone: Different flying modes & styles and how they affect your aerial productions
• Flying your done: Maintaining Line-of-sight & avoiding obstacles
• Drone movements: Pull away, Orbit, Flyover
• Flying styles of Vertical Lifts, B Rolling Rotations, C Pitching Rotations, D Yaw Rotations
• Aerial timelapses & hyperlapses
• Pre-flight planning: Planning your location, shots and flight time
• Safety checklist before and after your flight
• Post-flight ingestion & workflows
  
  Practical Sessions:
  The practical session will ensure that participants get the following hands on:
• Identify how good a certain drone is based on specifications 
• Recognize the various drone accessories and use them according to specific situations
• Not get into trouble with the law
• Setup the camera correctly to get good exposures
• Select the correct frame rates and white balance
• Safely launch and land your drone
• Perform various cinematic maneuvers & flying styles
• Plan your shots to save on battery power and time

   Class Details:

• Full-day class from 10am to 5pm.
• Meals are excluded.  You can have your own lunch at the restaurants nearby the academy.
• Certificate of Completion is awarded upon your completion of this course.
• Course is divided into 2 sections throughout both day: Theory Session and Practical Session.
• We maintain a low student-to-trainer ratio allowing for better learning & shooting opportunities & experimentation with various camera settings.
• Professional models/actors will be hired by us to allow participants to practise their newly learned skills on shooting.
• Participants will receive 2 years of E-Learning access to contents of this course, these include videos, cheat-sheets and also summary notes, which you can watch or download/print at your own convenience.
• There is a minimum number of 2 participants for this course.
