Classroom Session:
You will learn the complete workflow to planning and executing a successfull video shoot.

• Learn about good & correct Filming, Audio, and Editing techiniques.
• Learn how to properly set up the filming equipment, cameras & lights.
• Set etiquette - The proper way to conduct a shoot
• The Rules of filming explained (e.g: Eye-line & Leveling, 180 degres Rule, 90 degress Shift, Continuity & Takes)
• Camera angles and framing techniques (Rule Of Space, Rule of 3rds, Cinematic Crops)
• Camera's movement techniques (Static, Float, Dolly, Sliding, Panning, Jibbing, Steady-Cam)
• Good audio properties and how to set them up correctly
• Audio standards in video & filming
• Good & easy lighting styles. Learn how to set up various types of lights, from natural lighting to induced light.
• Learn how lighting affects the scene & how to position your lights effectively
• Good editing techniques, such as Transitions, L-Cuts, J-Cuts, Fades
• Vital tips & trocks to planning your video shoots in order to save time & move of equipment.
  
  Practical Sessions:
  The practical session will ensure that participants get the following hands on:
• Convert a story, script or board given into a profesisionally shot video.
• Set up and rig all relevant equipment, from cameras to lights & audio
• Complete understanding of camera Exposure & camera focus settings
• Using the right lighting techniques, learn the complete video lighting setups
• Understand the correct microphones usage & setups for the vaiours genres of videos
• Understand the various styles of videos, from educational videos to interviews to short films
• Master the shoot using DSLR/Mirrorless cameras & even Smartphones
• Lean how to use appealing compositions, such as the Rule Of Thirds, Rules Of Space, Camera angles & movement rules.
  
  
  
  
   

  
   Class Details:

• Full-day class from 10am to 5pm.
• Meals are excluded.  You can have your own lunch at the restaurants nearby the academy.
• Certificate of Completion is awarded upon your completion of this course.
• Course is divided into 2 sections throughout both day: Theory Session and Practical Session.
• We maintain a low student-to-trainer ratio allowing for better learning & shooting opportunities & experimentation with various camera settings.
• Professional models/actors will be hired by us to allow participants to practise their newly learned skills on shooting.
• Participants will receive 2 years of E-Learning access to contents of this course, these include videos, cheat-sheets and also summary notes, which you can watch or download/print at your own convenience.
• There is a minimum number of 2 participants for this course.
