COURSE OUTLINE:
Day 1:
• Creating the story concept - Getting inspirations & ideas like an Advertising Agency
• Visualizing your video for publishing on various different platforms (Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok)
• Pros & Cons of different camera models & which one to use (Smartphone, Mirrorless & DSLRs)
• The different types of Lights & what to own & use during your shoot projects (LEDs, Fresnel, Tungsten)
• Learn how to setup your equipment for good video production
• Camera Settings (What ISO to pick, Aperture to use & Shutter Angles)
• Additional camera settings to make your videos look professional

Day 2:
• Unique Selling Points (USP) - determining your product/service selling points and how to emphasize those in your videos
• Shoot Logistics - How to plan out the shoot so that everything proceeds smoothly (what to include and what to exclude)
• Team Roles - who are the people you must have in a team to best optimize a shoot
• Shoot Croppings - Learn the best ways to compose a scene, what to include and where not to exclude
• Focusing techniques - Where to focus, how to focus and when to shift focus to create dramatic effects.
• Shaping light - How to adjust and control your lights for professional looking videos.

Day 3:
• The importance of transitions: How to tie-in the different scenes of the video
• Camera Movement - when to use camera movements to create depth and emphasize a particular scene
• Advanced Compositions: Learn when to apply rules such as Storying & Representation
• Learn the steps that must be done on set and the limits of what can be done in post processing

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Participants will learn step-by-step how to:
• Plan out a story concept
• Set-up their camera equipment & lights for a video shoot
• Plan the camera angles and set design
• Create interesting scenes utilizing different camera angles
• Vary the lighting to create different scene outlooks
• Use focusing techniques and camera movement to create emphasis








 

  
   Class Details:

• Full-day class from 10am to 5pm

• Meals are excluded.  You can have your own lunch at the restaurants nearby the academy

• Course is divided into 2 sections throughout both day: Theory Session and Practical Session

• We maintain a low student-to-trainer ratio allowing for better learning & shooting opportunities & experimentation with various camera settings

• Participants will receive 2 years of E-Learning access to contents of this course, these include videos, cheat-sheets and also summary notes, which you can watch or download/print at your own convenience

• There is a minimum number of 2 participants for this course
