• Choosing the video concept to suit your ideas (Interviews, social media ads, viral videos, demo videos, training videos)
• Additional equipment & tools to support your Smartphones to get great videos
• Learn about the ideal specifications for your Smartphone
• Understand the different types of Lights and which are the best to own
• Learn about the various types of microphones are which ones are suitable for Smartphones
• Learn how to effectively modify your lights
• Learn how to choose the right tripods, gimbal, grips & light stands
• Learn how to setup your equipment for a video shoot using your Smartphone
• Smartphone video settings & how to make a scene look like it is shot on a professional video camera
• Additional camera settings to help aid your shoots
Day 2:
• Learn about file management, how to create the correct working folders & how to organize all media prior to starting your video edits
• Identifying the “Good takes”, suitable footage for use in your project
• Navigating the interface. Learn the various tools in your video editor and how to use them
• What is a “Project Timeline”, how do different programs handle the timeline & how to arrange your selected clips in the timeline
• Managing your edits! Learn about the Rough Cut (a.k.a. Offline edits) and the transition to Online Editing
• Learn about Audio syncing
• How to merge a video (from a camera) with audio that was recorded simultaneously from a different source (from an audio recorder)
• Adding various graphical assets into your timeline to draw attention to specific parts of the frame
