Classroom Session:
Learn to take great videos using smartphones by understanding storytelling, videography, audio & lighting, with this course.

• How good are smartphone videos? The modern image sensor, specs, advantages & limitations.
• Learn how to get inspiration & ideas like an advertising agency.
• Choosing the video concept to suit your ideas (Interviews, social media ads, viral videos, demo videos, training videos)
• Additional equipment & tools to support your Smartphones to get great videos.
• Learn about the ideal specifications for your Smartphone.
• Understand the different types of Lights and which are the best to own.
• Learn about the various types of microphones are which ones are suitable for Smartphones
• Learn how to effectively modify your lights
• Learn how to choose the right tripods, gimbal, grips & light stands.
• Learn how to setup your equipment for a video shoot using your Smartphone
• Smartphone video settings & how to make a scene look like it is shot on a professional video camera
• Additional camera settings to help aid your shoots.
  
  
  Practical Sessions:
  The practical session will ensure that participants get the following hands on:
• Identify which Smartphone will be the best to use for videography
• Create interesting storylines and video concepts
• Choose the appropriate styles of filming based on the concept
• Identify the suitable equipment and tools to support the creation of Smartphone videos
• Correctly setup the lights and how to modify the quality of light
• Correctly attach and setup the audio equipment
• Easily utilize a cheap gimbal to achieve moving shots

   Class Details:

• Full-day class from 10am to 5pm.
• Meals are excluded.  You can have your own lunch at the restaurants nearby the academy.
• Certificate of Completion is awarded upon your completion of this course.
• Course is divided into 2 sections throughout both day: Theory Session and Practical Session.
• We maintain a low student-to-trainer ratio allowing for better learning & shooting opportunities & experimentation with various camera settings.
• Professional models/actors will be hired by us to allow participants to practise their newly learned skills on shooting.
• Participants will receive 2 years of E-Learning access to contents of this course, these include videos, cheat-sheets and also summary notes, which you can watch or download/print at your own convenience.
• There is a minimum number of 2 participants for this course.
