Classroom Session:
You will learn about the entire idea of the planning process before you make an actual video shoot, starting from your ideas, to the story, then to the scripting, dialog, storyboarding & entire scene-shot planning.

• Learn how to create ANY video concept without writing complicated Scripts or Draw Storyboards
• Learn the basics of how every good story is told: Hook, Intro, Problems, Ideas, Solutions, Outro
• Video genres (Interview, Story-videos, Viral Videos, Demo Videos, Training Videos)
• The 4 Elements needed for good videos (The Story, The Shot, The Audio, and The Editing)
• Get started with Content & Script writing, how to write SCRIPTS EASILY without too much training
• Finer tips on how to write a Script, what is Odd & Even scripting
• Translating a Script to a Storyboard. Learn how to create Storyboards without DRAWING!
• Creating Shots & Scenes from your script
• Choosing Cameras angles that are suitable for videography
• Understanding basic video cuts & transitions (and knowing what they mean to your viewers)
• Storyboard to Shootboard: Vital tips & tricks to planning your video shoots in order to save time & move of equipment
• Filming an Interview: a Step by step guide on how to film an interview or an instructional video
• Filming a Story-video: a Step by step guide on how you can make short-film-styled videos
  
  Practical Sessions:
  The practical session will ensure that participants get the following hands on:
• Brainstorm ideas and create a video concept
• Understand the various styles of videos, from educational videos to interviews to short films
• Select the correct genre in which their video will be filmed
• Translate a video concept to a full script WITHOUT classic complicated script-writing
• Transition from a text-based script to a visual storyboard
• Learn about various types of cameras & equipments needed for video production
• Complete understanding of how to convert a simple Story to interesting Scenes in a video
• Understand how to use each stage of new story-telling methods to entice your audience
• Planning the shots, shoot sequences & what type of Cuts to use
  
   

  
   Class Details:

• Full-day class from 10am to 5pm.
• Meals are excluded.  You can have your own lunch at the restaurants nearby the academy.
• Certificate of Completion is awarded upon your completion of this course.
• Course is divided into 2 sections throughout both day: Theory Session and Practical Session.
• We maintain a low student-to-trainer ratio allowing for better learning & shooting opportunities & experimentation with various camera settings.
• Professional models/actors will be hired by us to allow participants to practise their newly learned skills on shooting.
• Participants will receive 2 years of E-Learning access to contents of this course, these include videos, cheat-sheets and also summary notes, which you can watch or download/print at your own convenience.
• There is a minimum number of 2 participants for this course.
