Course Outline:

• Learn Capcut file management, how to create the correct working folders & how to organize all media before starting your video edits
• Identifying the “Good Takes”, suitable footage for use in your project
• Navigating the interface. Learn the various tools in CapCut and how to use them
• What is a “Project Timeline”, how Capcut handles the timeline & how to arrange your selected clips in the timeline
• Managing your edits. Learn about the Rough Cut (a.k.a. Offline edits) and the transition to Online Editing
• Learn all about Audio in video editing
• Master audio syncing (how to merge videos from cameras with audio from different sources (from audio recorders)
• Adding various graphical elements into your timeline to draw attention to specific parts of the frame 
• Learn about frame transitions, what they mean, and when to use them in your videos
• Learn how to choose suitable background music & incorporate it into your video
• Learn where to obtain royalty-free music and songs online

   Class Details:

• Full-day class from 10am to 5pm.
• Lunch is excluded.  You can have your own lunch at the restaurants nearby the academy.
• Certificate of Completion is awarded upon your completion of this class.
• We maintain a low student-to-model ratio allowing for better shooting opportunities and experimentation with various camera settings.
• Professional models are hired to allow participants to practise their newly learned skills on shooting.
• Class notes will be provided when you sign up via our online system; these include videos, cheat-sheets and also summary notes, which you can watch or print at your own convenience.
• There is a minimum number of 5 participants for this class. If this minimum number is not achieved, we have no alternative but to reschedule this class or refund accordingly.
