• Camera gear & the recommended camera settings for product photography
• Lighting & accessories needed
• Where to focus when there is a single product, multiple products in 1 shot, or when there is a model on set
• The 4 Categories of products: Absorbable, Transparent, Reflective, Mixed
• Shooting Absorbable Products
• Shooting Transparent Products
• Shooting Reflective Products
• Specular Highlights - when to use this lighting technique to achieve the “Professional” look
• Shooting products with Mixed Traits
• Camera angles & crops: when to shoot close-up, macro, isometric angles

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Participants will learn step-by-step how to:
• Completely set up the camera, accessories & lights required for product shoots
• Identify the product materials & how to light them up differently
• Set up the lights for an Absorbable Product shoot
• Set up the lights for a Transparent Product shoot
• Set up the lights for a Reflective Product shoot
• Use specular highlights to bring out product curvature, texture & glossiness
• Master the shoot using DSLR/Mirrorless cameras & even Smartphones
• Learn how to use appealing e-commerce compositions, such as Isometric, Angle-Of-Attack, Rule Of Thirds, Rules Of Space & Camera angles










 

  
   Class Details:

• Full-day class from 10am to 5pm

• Meals are excluded.  You can have your own lunch at the restaurants nearby the academy

• Course is divided into 2 sections throughout both day: Theory Session and Practical Session

• We maintain a low student-to-trainer ratio allowing for better learning & shooting opportunities & experimentation with various camera settings

• Participants will receive 2 years of E-Learning access to contents of this course, these include videos, cheat-sheets and also summary notes, which you can watch or download/print at your own convenience

• There is a minimum number of 2 participants for this course
