• Learn in great detail the Big 5. In Flash Photography class, you were taught the concept of Coverage in Big 5, and this time you will learn the rest of the remaining Big 5: Shadow, Highlight, Edge and Reflection.
• Learn how Highlight interacts with your subject's Mid Tone; learn about Aperture Ratio, Contrast Control, Surface Efficiency and Tone Efficiency. By knowing these properties, you can now fully control the Highlights exactly to where and how you want them to be.
• Learn all there is to know about Shadows and how shadows interact with Mid Tone and Highlights and learn how to control Shadow Color, Shadow Contrast and Shadow Feathering and by doing so, you can now get shadows to behave exactly how you want them.
• Learn everything about the ever-powerful Edge, starting from Shadow Edge to Highlight Edge. You will also learn the various ways to achieve the desired speed of your edge. Learn some cool techniques on how to transfer these Edges effectively, like a seasoned flash professional.
• Learn all about shadow and how to craft them to your liking. Learn to control both Shadow and Highlight Edges like a seasoned professional.
• Learn the various types of highlight, from fine-rim to specular. Understand how to eliminate or induce flare; like a professional fashion photographer. At the same time, learn how to tame your flash color temperature using mix-lighting.
• Master the various styles of lighting, from soft and low color contrast to broad, sharp and high color contrast .
  Learn how to use your flash to induced perceived contrast of your photos to enhance on your depth of field.
• Thought you know all about lighting? Learn beyond Coverage and learn how to induce the right intensity of light, coupled with your camera's Exposure Mix and immediately increase the desired sharpness and color contrast in your shoots!

You will also be mastering a few new flash lighting rules and tricks:

• Learn and master the 1/3-stop rule and when to use it effectively in determining the exposure of a flash-shoot.
• Learn the 2-stop rule and when to use it effectively in contrast-play in a flash-shoot.
• Learn the 4-stop rule and when to use it effectively in a low-key flash-shoot.
• Learn how to get wildly saturated background color by using these newly learnt rules (and let our trainers show you what happens when you break these rules! You will be pleasantly surprised with the result!)
• Learn how to create highly 3-dimensional subject lighting like you have never done before.
• Learn how to control your flash light accurately to produce the correct contrast and color saturation.
• Learn how to use your own EYES as a light meter and immediately reduce the number of uncalled-for erroneous shots that you have been making thus far (regardless of the flash power or your camera's exposure mix, our trainers will show the secret formula of how to nail the next shot perfectly. Yes, in just ONE shot!)
• Learn how to get exactly the correct exposure without even knowing the power on your flash light by using this cool method where you use your eyes to detect exposure.

In this workshop, participants will also be exposed in detail to the effect of what each different modifier does to your light quality. Understand the properties and result of using these modifiers:

• direct umbrella
• reverse umbrella
• softbox
• flags
• snoot
• grid/honeycomb

   Class Details:

• This class is only available for Private Class.  Please refer to Private Photography Class for more information. 
• 5 hours per class per subject.  There will be 2.5 hours for Classroom Theory Session and 2.5 hours for Practical Session.
• Certificate of Completion is awarded upon completion of this class.
• Class is divided into 3 sections through out the day:
• Classroom Session, Practical Session (in studio) and Photo Review & Comments Session.
